European Water and Wastewater TAG 18 were originally set to take place in Paris on 18th and 19th March. However, after restrictions put in place due to the outbreak of Covid-19, the meeting was run entirely virtually.

Global technology and innovation consultancy Isle Utilities is growing its team and has appointed Matthew Stephenson as European director. Stephenson joined on 1 October and brings over 20 years’ experience in the water sector, most recently as director of Suez Advanced Solutions UK and previously at Bristol Water, a utility in south-west England.

Isle are delighted to share a short study on the journey taken by Inflowmatix after their involvement with Isle through the European TAG programme.

Isle is supporting the efforts of the Inter-American Development Bank to create the right framework for innovation in the water sector in Latin America. As part of this effort, a TAG innovation workshop will be organized during the conference IWA-IDB Innovation Conference on Sustainable Use of Water: Cities, Industry and Agriculture, happening on September 30-October 3 in Guayaquil, Ecuador. The workshop will provide selected technology companies with the opportunity to present their products and create the opportunity to interact with Latin America’s leading water utilities.

Urban Resilience TAG took place in Rotterdam on 22nd May 2019, following a successful excursion on 21st May.

Isle has been shortlisted for the 2019 Water Industry Awards under two categories: Water Industry Consultant of the year and Data project of the year for our Artificial intelligence Horizon Scan for the global water industry project.
