The Built Environment Innovation Hub \u201cThe Innovation Hub\u201d, funded by Haringey Council, is part of the Council\u2019s ambition to lead the way in driving forward the market for low carbon built environment technology adoption, both across Haringey and on its own estate. It supports emerging technologies and improves performance across the built environment. Isle is contracted to manage the Innovation Hub programme, building on 11 years of experience running similar forums. Since the Innovation Hub was established in the autumn of 2015, the membership has expanded from Haringey and neighbouring boroughs the wider London area.<\/p>\n

What is the Innovation Hub? <\/b><\/p>\n

The Innovation Hub is a group of forward thinking organisations with a successful record of delivering in the property and building design sectors. Members are passionate about sourcing and implementing the best solutions available to improve their business, and embracing innovation to give them a competitive edge.<\/p>\n

By pooling resources, members benefit from identifying and sharing the common hurdles that their businesses need to overcome, and then working through the Hub\u2019s collective intelligence in sourcing new technology to address these challenges. Through Isle, the technology need is identified and mapped, then technological innovation solutions proactively scouted.<\/p>\n

The Built Environment Innovation Hub promotes and helps <\/i>drive strategic collaboration between major property customers, new <\/i><\/b><\/i><\/b>technologies and critical market shapers. <\/i><\/b><\/i><\/b>
\n<\/i><\/b><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

How It Works?<\/b><\/p>\n

The Innovation Hub is driven by combined market demand of its members. Hub members are drawn from a wide spectrum of the property sector, including: local authorities and other large property owners, developers, social housing organisations, property managers, construction contractors, facilities managers, property agents and urban designers. The Hub works by understanding the collective innovation needs of the members, sourcing the best innovative technologies and solutions that meet these needs and then working with members, technology providers and other market players to deliver commercial adoption.<\/p>\n

Over the course of two Hub Meetings, Isle has identified, analysed and scrutinised around 300 technologies, resulting in around 45 of the most innovative low carbon technologies within the built
\nenvironment being presented to Hub members. A number of these have been taken forward to the trial \/ demonstration stage as a direct result of presenting at a HUB Meeting.<\/p>\n
